Driverless Shuttle App Development Case Study | MobiIndia

Facilitating Tech Solutions for Driverless Shuttles

Empowering Fleet Management with Advanced Remote Control and Real-Time Features

Overview

Our client aimed to fully leverage automated solutions. We designed an app that empowered fleet managers to manage driverless shuttles remotely. We provided them with a wide range of features that consisted of seat booking options for users, stoppage alerts for stops throughout the journey, emergency stoppage, real time location and navigation. They collaborated with us to uncover more innovative automation features.

Our Process

We engineered an app that enabled fleet managers to have full remote control of driverless shuttle systems. How the vehicle works- once the destination is set, the driverless vehicle begins the journey without stopping. Adjusts its path based on direction and road traffic.

The shuttle can accommodate 14 passengers. It can navigate automatically, equipped with high fidelity sensors and robust algorithms for path planning and navigation.

1
Project Initiation

We understood the client’s requirements. So, our team defined the scope and needs for a driverless vehicle management application.

2
Technical Blueprint

First, we started with designing the architecture of the driverless vehicle management application. Next, we proceeded with identifying and aligning the high-fidelity sensors. This is needed for real time data monitoring.Created algorithms for route planning and emergency stops.

3
Rapid Development

Agile methodologies were adopted. Collaborative coding and regular communication altogether accelerated the development process.

4
Testing and QA

Extensive testing was performed to confirm the app's functionality, scalability, and security. Moreover, to ensure that the app performs consistently in different scenarios, simulated trials were carried out.
